The visionary Dr. Shantanu R Joshi is a basically a Clinician. He studied Ayurved and modern medicine. He started his practice in 1999 in Pune. In clinical practice, he used to prepare the medicines of his own small set up near his clinic. He observed the results of his own formulations. He was giving the formulations to some of his doctor friends. They too got the similar results. Dr. Shantanu R Joshi and His wife Dr. Sakshi Joshi after the significant experience of 8 years decided to expand the existing work of formulations. In 2007, the Ayurvedic Drug Manufacturing Company by the name Global Herbs Pharmaceutical was started in Ambegoan, Pune. Later in 2019 the name was changed to Acuere Biosciences Pvt. Ltd. Acuere Biosciences Pvt. Ltd. today manufacture those medicines which were developed by Dr. Shantanu Joshi in his clinical practice.
2007
Got the manufacturing license for Ayurvedic Medicines. Initially manufacturing more
classical Ayurvedic medicines in rented premises. The company started with minim sections
like churna and tablets.
2008
Added the modern machinery like blistering machine for the proper packaging of
tablets.
2009
Expanded the existing premises and added the new sections syrup, granules, ointment
and liniment. Important products like PCOSNIL, TORCH-XV and SP-MAX were added.
Company decided to conduct the clinical trials, the first clinical trial of formulation URICNIL
was conducted in Dr. Hardikar hospital in Pune. The results were encouraging. It is based on
the attempt to check the results of Ayurvedic Medicines based on modern scientific
knowledge.
Company got GMP certification and ISO certification from TUV.
2012
To encourage marketing, the new firm Global Herbs Marketing was established. The
whole purpose was to focus on marketing.
2014
Shifted to new premises in December 2014. Expanded the product range.
2015
New capsuling section was developed for better packaging.
2015
Purchased the new office in Pune city.
2016 to 2018
Dr. Shantanu R Joshi went for MSc in Pharmaceutical Medicine a science
dedicated to drug development. He worked extensively at Department of clinical
Pharmacology, Seth G. S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai in drug
development.
2019
Converted Proprietary firm Global Herbs Pharmaceuticals into Private limited
company ACUERE BIOSCIENCES PVT LTD.
2019
After completing, MSc, the focus was shifted to scientific research and started
projects related our products at NIRRCH-ICMR, Mumbai. NMIMS, Mumbai.
2020
Dr. Shantanu R Joshi pass out Ph.D. entrance test.
2021
Due to corona. Dr. Shantanu R Joshi started his Ph.D. work in 2021. He is extensively
working on PCOS and PCOSNIL.
2022
The preclinical studies on TORCH-XV completed.
2023
The preclinical study of SP-MAX published in reputed journal “Reproductive
Toxicology” a Elsevier publication by European Teratology Society.
All preclinical work of PCSNIL related to standardization, efficacy and toxicity is completed.
Multicenter, Phase III, double blind, randomized, active control clinical trial is in progress.
